Trolley Square and The Highlands are two of the City of Wilmington’s premier western neighborhoods. Trolley Square is best known for it’s vibrant social scene and walkable conveniences featuring a multitude of restaurants, pubs and retail stores. You can find something to do every night of the week whether it is at one of the many cozy Irish pubs, one of the upscale eateries, or anything in between. Just a little farther west brings you to The Highlands known for it’s wide, tree lined parkways, and grand homes. The centerpiece of the Highlands is the beautiful Rockford Park which provides acres of green space and features running paths, tennis courts, softball fields and of course the most popular “Bark Park” in the City. Rockford Park is also home to one of Wilmington’s most recognizable icons which is the 100 yr old Rockford Tower. The Highlands is also home to the Delware Art Museum which features exhibitions from all over the world and is best know for it’s large collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art.
